"When I first came to Patty I had basically lost hope that my eczema would get better. I had spent the previous year going to the GP, several naturopaths and a homeopath but my skin kept getting worse. Going to a dermatologist was not an option for me as I have had adverse reactions to steroids which would only suppress my condition and not treat the underlying causes. In spite of a year trying various supplements, vitamins and creams my eczema was spreading from my legs to my torso, arms and along my hair line. I was desperate and found The Skin Clinic online after searching for natural skin clinics. Although I live on the Sunshine Coast I was willing to drive to Brisbane to see Patty as I liked her holistic approach of treating the skin from the inside out. On my first visit Patty looked at my legs and said that it may take 3-6 months to treat but that it was possible. She gave me hope where I had none. We discussed my diet and lifestyle, including stress factors, and she recommended a "rainbow diet", keeping a food diary, reducing stress and being grateful. She also provided me with a DMK supplement and Maximum Moisture cream which at last calmed and soothed my skin. During my regular visits (every 3 weeks) I received enzyme therapy on my legs and they got progressively better, seeing noticeable improvements after every visit. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Patty as she is so caring, genuine and made me feel very special. I can highly recommend Patty for your most challenging skin issue and she will bring a smile back to your face. "I have never used to have acne problem after my teen years so I was in dismay when these little, sore and annoying pimples appear on my face at the age of 27. I naively thought that they will go away after time of the month but they never did! My confidence level was a record low as i just couldn't look at myself in the mirror. frustratingly, I turned to the doctors for a fast solution, and I was prescribed with low dose antibiotics. A week after started on the antibiotics, I was skeptical of the side effects of the antibiotics as I understand that sooner or later my body will develop resistance to these pills. I started seeing the team at Complexion Code around three months ago feeling as though I had tried everything before and that I had already exhausted every option. I had become very skeptical that there could be anyone or anything out there that could actually help my skin - however with my wedding day fast approaching I wanted to try one last thing.

I have just got home from a beautiful facial treatment at your salon, and wanted to write and tell you how impressed I was with the service you provided.

It is very hard having "problem skin" (as so many beauticians have referred to in the past). I have suffered from acne for many many years and tried everything before resorting to my last option of going on Roaccutane. I'm not happy about being on it and I know about all the side effects... but looking in the mirror at disgusting acne every day is so much worse than any of these. When I have been to salons in the past the therapist has always made me feel terrible about being on Roaccutane and/or my "problem skin".

Today was the first time that this didnt happen. My therapist instead told me about the things I should take care with while being on the drug and emphasised the importance of hydration (where everywhere else keeps trying to sell me drying products!!). She was just fantastic and I really enjoyed my time at the salon. I didnt feel embarassed about my crap skin, infact she made me feel really good about myself.

I am a very happy customer and really look forward to my next visit early in the New Year. You have just won yourself a loyal customer - thank you very much!
